Job Description Job Description Job Overview The Yoga Instructor is responsible for leading safe, engaging, and inclusive yoga classes for members of all experience levels. This role requires a deep understanding of yoga principles, strong communication skills, and a passion for holistic wellness. Supervisory Responsibilities: n/a Key Responsibilities Instruction of various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques to members and students. Greet members warmly and foster a welcoming, supportive class atmosphere. Assist in the preparation of the studio environment for each session (e.g., lightning, music, cleanliness) Monitors participants for safety by way of sequencing, posture modifications and instruction as needed. Assist in promoting Trufusion related classes and events through engagement with members. Maintain at least one permanent class on the weekly schedule. Must be active on the sub list and sub at least once/month. Maintain current certifications and adhere to studio standards and policies. Follow all sanitation protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment. Ensure that best practices and safety procedures are performed as required. Support for Daily Operations Report any member conflicts/issues to studio General Manager/ Assistant General Manager. Monitor and report any facility maintenance or repair needs to management. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for members. Ability to interact with staff, members and vendors while remaining professional, polite and courteous. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to take direction, constructive feedback-evaluations work independently, or as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification preferred; 300-hour RYT as additional via the National Yoga Alliance Minimum 1 year of group instruction experience preferred CPR/AED certification preferred or required per local/state regulation. Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Requires standing, bending, and moving for extended periods. Studio-based setting with music and ambient lighting. Ability to lift and carry yoga equipment and supplies Ability to work in warm and humid conditions, especially during heated yoga classes.
