Job Description:
Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT
consulting firm, is currently seeking a Salesforce and D365
Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Salesforce and D365
Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and
delivery of complex projects involving both Salesforce and
Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms. This role requires a strong blend
of technical acumen, project management best practices, and
excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business
needs and technical solutions across these critical CRM and ERP
systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of
successfully managing end-to-end implementations, integrations, and
enhancements for both Salesforce and D365, ensuring projects are
delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
standards. A strong preference will be given to candidates with
hands-on experience and a solid understanding of MuleSoft API-led
connectivity and integration patterns. Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management: Define project scope, goals,
deliverables, and timelines for Salesforce and D365 initiatives,
collaborating closely with stakeholders, business users, and
technical teams. Develop comprehensive project plans, including
detailed tasks, resource allocation, and budget management. Lead
and facilitate project ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily
stand-ups, retrospectives) for Agile methodologies, or manage
traditional Waterfall projects as appropriate. o Monitor project
progress, track key metrics, and provide regular status reports to
stakeholders and senior management. Identify, assess, and mitigate
project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to ensure
successful project outcomes. Manage change requests, ensuring they
are properly documented, approved, and incorporated into project
plans. Technical Leadership & Solutioning: Possess a strong
understanding of both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365
platforms, including their respective ecosystems, functionalities,
and best practices. Work closely with solution architects,
developers, and administrators to translate business requirements
into technical specifications and feasible solutions for both
platforms. Oversee the technical design, development, testing, and
deployment phases of projects, ensuring adherence to architectural
standards and best practices. Provide technical guidance and serve
as an escalation point for development teams working on Salesforce
and D365. Drive the integration strategy between Salesforce and
D365, as well as other enterprise systems. Experience with MuleSoft
API-led connectivity and a deep understanding of its capabilities
for complex integrations is highly preferred. Ensure data integrity
and consistency across integrated systems. Stakeholder & Team
Management: Effectively communicate project expectations, progress,
and challenges to diverse stakeholders, including business users,
IT leadership, and vendors. Build and maintain strong relationships
with clients and internal teams, fostering a collaborative and
productive environment. Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional
project teams (developers, administrators, business analysts, QA
testers) for both Salesforce and D365 projects. Facilitate
effective communication and collaboration within the project team
and across departments. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the project
lifecycle, including code reviews, testing protocols, and
documentation requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing
(UAT) activities and ensure client sign-off on deliverables. Stay
up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and industry trends
for both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365, and integration
technologies like MuleSoft. Identify opportunities for process
improvement and innovation within project management methodologies
and technical implementations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,
or a related field. 10 years of experience in technical project
management, with significant experience specifically managing
projects involving Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Proven
track record of successfully delivering complex enterprise-level
projects on time and within budget. Deep technical understanding of
Salesforce: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience
Cloud, or other relevant Salesforce Clouds. Salesforce Apex,
Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow. o Salesforce
integration patterns and tools (e.g., API integrations). Salesforce
administration and configuration. Deep technical understanding of
Microsoft Dynamics 365: Dynamics 365 for Sales, Customer Service,
Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain, or other relevant D365
modules. Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
knowledge. o Dynamics 365 customization and configuration
(entities, forms, workflows, business rules). Dynamics 365
integration patterns and tools. Strong preference for candidates
with direct experience in MuleSoft API development, design, and
integration architectures. Strong knowledge of Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
and Waterfall. Preferred experience working with SmartSheet and
Azure DevOps Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP),
PRINCE2, or Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is
highly desirable. Salesforce Administrator/Developer/Consultant
certifications are a plus. o Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
are a plus. MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified
Developer, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect) are a significant
advantage. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional
teams. Exceptional communication (written and verbal),
presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
