Global is seeking a Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) to provide
clinical leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on support
for home health services delivered to former nuclear workers under
the DOL?EEOICPA program. This role blends strategic leadership with
field engagement and ensures that high-quality, compliant,
patient-centered care is consistently delivered across the region.
The RDON leads clinical field staff, drives accountability, ensures
regulatory compliance, strengthens patient satisfaction, and
supports new patient onboarding through close collaboration with
Business Development, Intake & Authorization, Scheduling, QA, HR,
and other internal teams. Key Focus Areas 1. Leadership &
Accountability Lead and mentor regional clinicians, setting
expectations and driving adherence to documentation standards,
timelines, and performance metrics. Conduct ride-alongs, 1:1s, and
real-time coaching to support clinical decision-making. Oversee
staffing capacity, case assignments, and skill mix to ensure safe,
high-quality care delivery. Assist with recruitment, hiring, and
onboarding of new nurses and HHAs. 2. Clinical Quality & Compliance
Ensure all care aligns with DOL program rules, state regulations,
and internal policies. Conduct chart audits focused on
documentation accuracy, timeliness, care plan alignment, and
skilled justification. Partner with QA to address deficiencies and
implement corrective action or retraining. Maintain audit readiness
and support accreditation processes. 3. Patient & Employee
Satisfaction Serve as a hands-on clinical leader who can step into
complex visits, support field staff, and handle escalations.
Investigate concerns, manage service recovery, and ensure patients
and families feel supported. Promote strong team culture, work-life
balance, and proactive communication. 4. Clinical Support for New
Patient Onboarding Partner with Business Development and Intake to
expedite assessments, SOCs, and care plans. Identify skilled needs,
risks, and clinical justification for appropriate service levels.
Help ensure fast, accurate documentation to reduce authorization
denials and support regional growth. 5. Cross?Functional
Collaboration Work closely with Scheduling, BD, HR, QA, Finance,
Training, and Leadership to maintain alignment in workflows and
patient care. Participate in strategic planning, problem solving,
and performance reviews. Support staffing models, utilization
improvement, risk mitigation, and overall operational efficiency.
6. Compliance Requirements Adhere to all Federal and State home
health regulations. Follow agency policies, clinical procedures,
and internal standards of practice. Required Skill and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): Master’s degree in nursing or
healthcare administration preferred. Licensure: Must hold a valid
and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of practice.
Minimum of 3-4 years of nursing experience required; at least 4
years of experience in home health, nursing leadership, or a
related field strongly preferred. Prior experience in a leadership
or management role is advantageous. Strong knowledge of healthcare
regulations and standards concerning home health services with the
Department of Labor a plus Certifications: Current Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification Strong clinical assessment, critical
thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients,
families, nursing leadership, and healthcare team members. Ability
to adapt to a flexible work schedule and to be on-call rotation
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and Microsoft
Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and/or access to a reliable
