Position Summary:

The RN Clinical Coordinator of Surgery assists the Director in the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit and assumes responsibility for the unit in the Director's absence. The RN Clinical Coordinator assures the delivery and continuity of patient care serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program Bachelor's degree requiredValid AZ RN License or valid multistate license from a recognized compact state acceptable in AZBasic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). If employee has ACLS, BLS is not required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)CNOR preferredAPEX innovations completed within 90 days of hire and annually
APEX NIH stroke scale assigned and completed within 90 days of hire and annually
