Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year A bit about us: This leadership position is responsible for managing the upkeep and technical readiness of a group of aircraft operated under specific regulatory guidance. The individual in this role will shape day-to-day activities related to mechanical oversight and long-term asset health, aligning with broader organizational initiatives. Opportunity to influence and scale a growing aviation operation Work closely with leadership in a collaborative environment Exposure to a diverse set of aircraft and advanced systems Role includes both strategic and hands-on elements Travel support and flexibility for mission-critical needs Competitive compensation and access to performance-based reviews Strong internal culture focused on safety, accountability, and team development Job Details Responsibilities Lead and coordinate technical staff involved in aircraft upkeep and readiness Maintain internal procedural handbooks within the area of responsibility Allocate daily tasks based on operational needs and available labor Plan for ongoing and future maintenance work, including schedule optimization Assess external service providers and manage maintenance-related expenses Monitor department costs and project future needs Uphold internal standards and ensure compliance with all governing bodies Interface with aircraft owners or designated representatives as needed Support company operations through occasional travel Carry out tasks assigned by the department executive Preferred Qualifications Holds a valid certification to service airframes and propulsion systems Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in aircraft oversight 7–10 years working in technical roles supporting aircraft within regulated operations Familiarity with documentation, recordkeeping, and mechanical inventory processes Working knowledge of software tools for task management and scheduling Demonstrated ability to manage a growing fleet of complex equipment Comfortable leading a team through both routine and urgent situations Experience using systems such as fl3xx, CAMP, or TRAXXALL is helpful but not required Interested in hearing more?
