Job Description:
Summary: Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs both FAA Certified
Normal Category small aircraft as well as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
Complies with aircraft maintenance record requirements In
Accordance With 14 CFR parts 43 and 91. Modifies aircraft
structures in accordance with relevant technical data. Supports
flight operations at various locations including loading and
un-loading aircraft, fueling and de-fueling, and preserves aircraft
cleanliness and appearance. Operates, maintains and repairs ground
service equipment. Performs ground-handling duties of Unmanned
Aerial Vehicles. Assists Avionics Technicians with maintenance,
installation and repair of both aircraft systems and support
equipment. Works closely with Pilot’s, technicians, and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Inspect and Maintain
company aircraft • Diagnose Mechanical or Electrical problems • Use
and maintain Ground Support Equipment • Perform ground handling of
aircraft by means of towing, lifting or taxiing • Perform
Functional and Operational testing of aircraft and aircraft systems
with specialized tools and or engine operations • Perform aircraft
records research and accurately maintain aircraft records • Perform
sheet metal or composite repairs and alterations to airframes •
Work as part of support team during flight operations before,
during and after each flight Obtain and maintain an appropriate
level security approval. This job has no supervisory
responsibilities Requirements: • U.S. Citizen • Job located in Las
Vegas, NV • Relocation is available • Read, Speak and Understand
English • Valid A&P License or an approved (signed) FAA Form
8610-2 (Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application) with an
inspector’s signature • Ability to work in variety of outdoor
conditions • Capable of routinely lifting or moving up to 100 lbs.
• Pass company physical ability test Work Environment: • Hangar,
office and outdoor airport environment • Periods of working in
outdoor environments including exposure to inclement weather,
daylight and darkness, dust, noise and aircraft movement areas •
Exposure to hazards such as aircraft fuels, hydraulic fluids, and
items used for the purposes of operation and maintenance of
aircraft
