This role involves facilitating effective communication for students and staff through expert sign language interpretation, ensuring equal access to educational content and social interaction. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events. Collaborate closely with teachers, students, and families to enhance communication and educational outcomes. Adapt interpretation services to a wide range of subjects and age groups within the school setting. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all student and staff interactions. Travel between school sites as needed to provide support across multiple locations. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification preferred. Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly schools. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Flexibility to travel regularly within the Las Vegas area. Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for students with hearing impairments.
